The Black Sea coast (Dobrogea region) enjoys a milder, semi-arid climate influenced by the sea. Summers are hot and sunny (27–30°C) with warm sea water. Winters are mild compared to inland Romania.
Best time to visit
Mid-June to mid-September for the beach. Sea temperature reaches 24–26°C in July–August.
Worth knowing
October to May — most resorts close. Strong north winds possible in autumn.
